The new university complex has been designed in order to create a new reference pole for instruction and research, capable of re-qualifying the urban environment it belongs to, and creating qualifying processes in both the contexts of architecture and social networks. The project solution is conceptually half way between the approaches towards open spaces and court-yard design.
The whole university complex becomes an instrument of union between the urban landscape and the new green area inside the location; the buildings, although positioned on the fringes of the area, have been designed following a criteria that allows for low permeability to traffic and to the view of perimeter roads and interior.
