The area of this building is configured as a “transition area” between existing distribution of the territory and new urban landscape made of separated different buildings.
Such as the orthogonal grid and its urban fabric had integrated the urban system of the historical area, the future conversion of railway area to a boulevard will integrate previous systems and will characterize the new urban aspect.
This new building has to resew the urban fabric divided from the railway axis and connect these two realities.
The solution proposed understands the need of a volumetric composition which allows a great permeability and a crossability of the new campus, both from the historical city, both from the new context on the west side of the lot.
